Inspired by a stunning photoset of Monica Bellucci and her daughter Deva Cassel for the cover of Vogue Italia’s July, we’ve made a tutorial of how to achieve the same dramatic effect for your photos. You will also find few new ideas for your mother-daughter photoset.
The effect made using Basic Color Filters and Motion Blur filter. To reproduce the example above:
- Click on Effects
- Choose “Filters“
- Select “Basic” collection snd choose DF4 filter.
- Hit ✓ to Save
- Return to the main menu and select “Blur” tool
- Select “Motion Blur”
- Choose best Radius and Angle parameter to get desired effect
- Hit ✓ to Save
For even more precise color control you can use Tone Curve and Color Matrix Tools in the “Adjust” tools collection. You can also try change Temperate and Tint for the photo.
Another one idea is to apply same color tones to both photos, like this:
