Light leakage effects happen when photographing with a very long exposure. Light can penetrate through the place where the lens and the camera dock. If this effect is undesirable, then usually such places are covered with a thick and dark cloth. But if you like to add such an effect to your photo – the easy way is using special filters with light leak overlays.
